20.04.10 To estimate thermal properties of external wall fragments Department of Testing and Inspection of Building Structures of the Republic Unitary Enterprise "Institute BelNIIS" has carried out resistance to heat transfer tests of external wall fragments:
- From wall multislot-hole expanded-clay lightweight concrete blocks "ThermoComfort"  with coating from facing expanded-clay lightweight concrete blocks manufactured by JSC "Plant of Expanded-Clay Gravel Novolukoml". The wall is 520 mm thick including 70 mm thick facing layer and 25 mm thick plaster layer.
- From solid expanded-clay lightweight concrete blocks "ThermoComfort"  manufactured by JSC "Plant of Expanded-Clay Gravel Novolukoml". The wall is 550 mm thick including plaster.
- From wall cellular concrete blocks (calibrated). The wall is 520 mm thick including plaster.

Test results are as follows:
- masonry made from wall multislot-hole expanded-clay lightweight concrete blocks "ThermoComfort"  with coating from facing expanded-clay lightweight concrete blocks manufactured by JSC "Plant of Expanded-Clay Gravel Novolukoml" having thickness of 520 mm including 70 mm thick facing layer and 25 mm thick plaster layer has reduced total thermal resistance of 3,336 м2 °C/W;
- masonry made from solid expanded-clay lightweight concrete blocks "ThermoComfort"  manufactured by JSC "Plant of Expanded-Clay Gravel Novolukoml" which is  550 mm thick including plaster has reduced total thermal resistance of 3,266 м2 °C/W;
- masonry made from wall cellular concrete blocks(calibrated) which is 520 mm thick including plaster has reduced total thermal resistance of 2,582 м2 °C/W.
